Summary: The analysis of the existing methods of solving the task of network routing by applying the neural network technologies, namely Hopfield net, was performed. The research is relevant due to the suggestion of Lyapunov function to solve the task of routing taking into account the network capacity and the number of data links involved into the route.

Summary: Despite the fact that the existing algorithms for routing data packets are already well established, there are researchers who are trying to find alternative methods for finding the shortest path through the network. One such method uses genetic algorithms (GA). GA is an evolutionary search algorithm is used to solve optimization problems and modeling by successive selection, combination and variation of the desired parameters.
